The Market is widely known for its fresh flowers and produce.Market History

Sixteen years ago, the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce led business and community leaders to San Luis Obispo and brought back the popular idea of a community Farmer's Market.  Since its inception, the Santa Rosa Downtown Market (formerly Thursday Night Market) has been a very popular Santa Rosa community event.  It brings all ages together into downtown Santa Rosa to enjoy summer evenings with their families, friends and neighbors. The Market has an attendance of 5,000 to 8,000 Sonoma County residents and tourists who enjoy it each week, making the total season's attendance over 100,000.  Admission to the Santa Rosa Downtown Market is free.

Fun for the whole family!About the Santa Rosa Downtown Market

The Santa Rosa Downtown Market is run by an all-volunteer Board of Directors. Market Director, Tracey Pugh, is a professional manager who is a participating member of the International Festivals and Events Association (an organization of more than 1,000 festivals from around the world.)  A Farm Market Manager manages the farm segment of the Market, under a contract with the Market.

The Santa Rosa Downtown Market is a fiscally-sound, professionally-run, non-profit (501 C (4)) organization.  Over seventy-five percent of our revenue is generated through vendor's fees and merchandise sales.  Sponsors and donors make up the remainder, allowing the community to enjoy this summer celebration free of charge.

If you are interested in sponsoring the Santa Rosa Downtown Market, making a donation, or want more information please contact Market Director Tracey Pugh at (707) 524-2123 or send your contribution or request to the address below.
